Opel (album)

Opel is a 1989 compilation consisting of eight original songs, plus different takes of previously released songs, recorded by former Pink Floyd frontman Syd Barrett between 1968 and 1970. While Barrett only released two albums in the seventies (The Madcap Laughs and Barrett), rumors of existing unreleased studio work persisted, combined with Barrett's complete withdrawal from music and cult fascination from both media and fan assured the release of the material.
