Alan Ford Il Gruppo TNT (Alan Ford and Group TNT) is an Italian comic book created by Max Bunker, commonly known as just Alan Ford. The comic book was created in 1969, and the first 75 issues were drawn by Magnus (Roberto Raviola). The story is about a group of money-strapped secret agents in New York, of often questionable morality.
Alan Ford is one of the characters, but story usually does not revolve around him. He joined the group by accident, since he wrote down the wrong address and instead of getting to a company where he was supposed to work in marketing, he ended up in a floral shop, a disguise for a secret agents group TNT.
Main Characters - Number One (Il Numero Uno), a very old disabled man, the supreme leader of group TNT. He treats other agents brutally. Has lot of connections, and the NYPD often turns to him for his help. He lives in a secret shelter with his parrot, Clodoveo.
- Alan Ford, a naive, shy and modest young man.
- Bob Rock, a short tempered agent, frustrated about his looks, since he is very short and has a very large nose. But he is a very clever agent.
- Sir Oliver (Il Conte Oliver), an English nobelty who had to leave the country due to disputes with the police. Keen of stealing, and a very good orator.
- The Boss (Cariatide), in theory Number One's right hand, but in practice a very lazy agent trying to avoid doing any work at all costs.
- Jeremiah (Geremia), a hypochondriac, usually with a duty of guarding the floral store.
- Grunf, a naturalized American, who changed his name from Grunt to Grunf when he abandoned Germany. He is an inventor, but his inventions are usually half-baked.
